Cookie Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

Northdocs ApS entity registration (CVR) is pending. These policies describe how the service operates today and are intended for customer due diligence. For a countersigned DPA or negotiated terms, contact legal@northdocs.com.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. This policy explains how Northdocs uses them on our marketing site and application.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect accounts, remember language preference, and operate the Service securely. We do not use advertising cookies, do not run third-party ad networks, and do not sell personal data.

3. Cookie categories

Strictly necessary. Required for authentication (via our identity provider), CSRF and security protections, locale preference, and core app functionality. These cannot be disabled if you wish to use the Service.

  • Clerk session and authentication cookies keep you signed in and enforce organization context.
  • Clerk may set bot-protection cookies (including CAPTCHA such as Turnstile) on sign-in and sign-up. These are required to complete authentication.
  • The first-party `northdocs.locale` cookie remembers English or Danish.
  • The first-party `nd_signup_intent` cookie (when present) records which trial path you started, so the workspace can open on the right surface after sign-up.

Functional. The signup-intent cookie listed above is the only first-party preference cookie we set besides locale. We do not use advertising cookies.

Analytics. We may use minimal first-party or privacy-preserving operational metrics to understand reliability and feature usage. We do not build advertising profiles.

4. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or alert). Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and normal use of the application. For more on how we process personal data, see the Privacy Policy. Privacy Policy.

5. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change accordingly.
