Prerequisites: System Admin access on the HighQ instance, and a site/folder id you are allowed to browse. Redirect URI: {APP_URL}/api/connectors/oauth/highq/callback.

Open Integrations, then Connect on HighQ. The numbered guide on that page matches the steps below.

HighQ Collaborate is common in Danish and Nordic Big Law. Register an API app on the instance, then connect one site area.

   Create the API application

   System Admin → API application registration. Set a token expiry that fits your policy, and copy client id/secret.

   Add the redirect URI

   Register the exact URI shown on the left.

   Enter the instance URL

   Format is https://{host}/{instance}, for example https://firm.highq.com/firm. Host plus instance path, no trailing slash noise. If list endpoints return HTML, this URL or JSON API mode is wrong.

   Pin the site-area folder

   Root folder id is required. Discover it from HighQ site admin or an existing API listing. Browse stays in that site.

   Authorize once

   Complete the interactive authorization code. Northdocs stores the refresh token and renews access afterward. Then Browse & import.

If list endpoints return HTML, the instance URL or JSON API mode is wrong.

Keep write-back off on live client Collaborate sites until a sandbox certification passes.
